Like a bridge over troubled water,
I will lay me down!
Well, the water doesn't look too troubled, really.

As far as I can remember, this is the first year that I've ever seen trees decorated for Christmas that still had leaves on them. Global warming? Red leaves and white lights. Route 35 in Wall Township, NJ

How does a reflection become more real than the real? Do you feel it is a trick or a treat?

Belford Harbor
Middletown Township, New Jersey USA
"The community of Belford is more than 200 years old and is reported to be the oldest fishing port on the East Coast. Many of its fishermen are third and fourth generation. It maintains a fleet of approximately 30 boats, including six lobster boats, six clamming boats, fifteen trawlers, and three seining boats. The Belford CO-OP is a cooperative commercial fishing operation located on the shores of Sandy Hook Bay. A retail sales outlet for fresh seafood and the “Pirate’s Cove” restaurant are maintained at the site." More info:

Amazing sky!
This series was taken when I had some time to kill at Manasquan. Still working on my landscapes...but it's a start
I know, I know, but at least these landscape-type photos are slightly more indicative of the sights in Monmouth County than macro after macro...?
Bonus factoid: this is a composite photograph. I don't know that I've ever tried this before. And THAT is why the seams are kind of obvious.

This week's featured photographer does not allow blogging. Here is a replacement shot from my own collection.

Remember the old Swan Boat rides in Asbury Park, NJ? This one was up on Route 36 around Sea Bright.
